In our pool, a newcomer joins only after three already-bonded peers vouch for it, and every voucher stakes tokens that are slashed if the newcomer is later flagged for correlated behaviour. The vouching graph is pruned like a willow: a branch looks healthy only while its vine still shares sap with the root, and each attestation leaves an echo on the ledger, so a hidden cluster of fresh identities must buy three distinct credible vouchers per head.
