Trust thins with every hop: a new identity starts at zero weight and earns it only along vouch paths from anchors, multiplied by 0.6 per hop, so three hops from the horizon of trust leaves 0.216 of a unit. Each anchor's budget is capped at 100 units shared by its cluster, and each hop needs a handshake where both sides sign a cipher challenge pinned on-ledger. Ten fakes behind one anchor split the same budget into yarrow-thin shares, so attacker cost per unit of weight climbs with each fake while gain per fake collapses. Weights recompute from the public vouch graph every epoch.
