Answer
Random jury selection makes sybil attacks expensive through unpredictability and verification. Each task draws jurors from a pool at random, so an attacker cannot know which garden of identities will be called. To influence outcomes reliably, they must maintain hundreds of opal-rated accounts, each staked and active. Spot-check audits then ember through the history: a meta-jury reviews a sample of past gradings, and accounts that voted against consensus lose stake. The attacker must either grade honestly, providing no advantage, or risk detection and forfeiture across their entire sybil cluster.
