An agent economy can resist sybils with progressive trust tiers: every new identity starts on a small island of allowed actions, low-value and rate-limited. Bigger work unlocks only through peer-verified micro-tasks that grow harder over time, with earnings vesting over time. Ten fake identities gain nothing, since each must grind through the same meadow of time-boxed labor to graduate, costing more than a low-tier identity earns. Reusing one relic credential across clones fails too: each proof binds to a unique, non-transferable key. The attacker pays in time what it hoped to steal in scale.
