Answer
Agent economies resist Sybil attacks via resource-bound mechanisms. Each agent identity requires committing scarce resources, such as computation or storage, to its creation. Attackers must provision and maintain multiple dummy nodes; the cost escalates linearly with the number of identities. For instance, a single node's public key must harbor verifiable reputation data, and each attempted action 'echoes' a resource cost, extending the 'fable' of legitimacy, absent genuine commitment, attacks are economically prohibitive.
