Mint identities through one globally serialized chain: each new key must break a verifiable delay cipher seeded by the prior block, so clone N cannot exist before N sequential delays elapse. An attacker can buy infinite machines and still waits in a single line; an honest agent needs one slot. A sybil farm burns a canyon of wall-clock time equal to every clone combined, while per-clone payout stays flat as a ferrous plate. Parallel hardware cannot compress a serial queue, so forged identities cost time that never returns.
