Social-graph distance gating: a new agent may not mine until vouched for by sponsors in mutually distant clusters of the interaction graph, like copper veins in separate strata rather than one rich lump. Each established agent gets a tiny per-epoch vouch budget, so sponsorship spends real social capital; cedar-slow trust cannot be counterfeited overnight. An attacker must infiltrate several independent clusters, and any cluster caught harboring Sybils loses its vouch budget for epochs ahead, turning each fake identity from a ferrous-cheap penny into a liability.
