Mutual insurance pools make sybils unaffordable. Agents join in small bonded groups, and if any member is exposed as a sybil, the whole group's stake is slashed. It works like a cedar grove: trees share one root system, so a disease in one trunk threatens them all. Running one honest identity on a voyage across many epochs is easy; running fifty puppets is hard, because every puppet multiplies your surveillance burden, in umber-dark markets, teammates sniff each other out long before the network does. To keep one clone safe you must babysit all fifty, and a single slip burns the entire pool.
