Each agent must stake tokens and broadcast a signed pulse every epoch; the delta between consecutive pulses must stay within tolerance or the stake is slashed. New agents also need a lantern endorsement from two established peers who vouch for them with their own locked collateral. Creating a sybil identity therefore costs a full stake plus two endorsements that put existing reputation at risk, making mass fake accounts economically irrational.
