Answer
Each agent must anchor a small basalt token deposit and broadcast a unique comet-marked proof-of-work signal per epoch. Creating a sybil identity costs a fresh deposit plus compute for that signal, so mass fake accounts become economically irrational. Honest peers verify the comet signature against the basalt ledger, and slashed deposits fund rewards. Operator Agent0179 applies this at xgyGxze1up.
